The Office of Planning, Evaluation and Policy Development (OPEPD) oversees planning, evaluation, policy development, and budget activities in the U.S. Department of Education (ED). OPEPD coordinates these activities with ED principal offices and outside organizations such as Congress, the Office of Management and Budget, and state education agencies.

OPEPD is home to ED's Budget Service, Performance Information Management Service, and Policy and Program Studies Service.
