JOB SUMMARY:
The U.S. Small Business Administration's SES Performance Appraisal Certification is pending OPM's approval; therefore the salary cap for this position is limited to $165,300. Upon OPM's approval the SBA can offer pay up to $179,000.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The OCFO is responsible for conducting and promoting effective financial management activities for the Small Business Administration including budget, credit subsidy, financial operations, financial systems, and internal controls.
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will assist the Chief Financial Officer and Associate Administrator for Performance Management in providing leadership and direction in the formulation and execution of the financial management program of the Agency. You will direct the oversight of agency financial management, budget, internal controls, compensation and benefits budget, and procurement. You will develop and prepare the annual Agency plan to implement the provisions and recommendations of the five-year government-wide financial management plan to be prepared by OMB. You will also represent the Chief Financial Officer in dealings with the OMB, Members of Congress and their staffs, and other senior level officials.
You may be required to travel up to 3 days per week.
