U.S. Department of Education Assistant Secretary Thelma Meléndez de Santa Ana will visit Adobe Acres Elementary, a Title I School, and El Camino Real Charter School in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday, September 3, to meet with school leadership, teachers and students. While in New Mexico, she also will meet with state and local education leaders to discuss ongoing reforms, School Improvement Grants and the education jobs bill.
