Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Government (DHHIG) will hold its biennial One Day Seminar on June 15, 2012 in Washington, DC. The theme for this seminar is "Doing More with Less," and the event will provide professional development and training on topics such as reasonable accommodations and technology. There will also be considerable networking opportunities for deaf, hard of hearing, and persons with normal hearing who are employed by the Federal Government.
The Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Government One Day Seminar qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. This event is open to all Federal employees and will feature presentations in areas including budget cutbacks, retirement buyouts, and reduction in force.
