Online Application Process

Due to contingency testing Aug. 17-Sept. 10, users may experience occasional connectivity issues when accessing the Online Application.

Thank you for your interest in America's Navy. Before you begin the application process, please have the following information handy:

  • Social Security Number
  • Details about your educational background
  • Employment history
  • Military service history (if applicable)
  • Job interests

 

How the Online Application Works
Upon selecting "Apply Online", you will be directed to the U.S. Navy Online Application site. This is not a request for more information. It's a concrete first step in applying to join America's Navy.

Step 1: Register for an Account
First, you will be asked to register for a personal account. This will enable you to complete the online application process all at once or to save your progress and return to complete it at a later date. This will be a different account and sign in from any you may have set up on navy.com.

Step 2: Respond to the Confirmation Email
A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide and you must click on the link it contains to validate your account.

Step 3: Create a User Name and Password
After your account has been validated, you will be required to select a user name and password.

Step 4: Submit your Application
After providing all the required information as directed, you may then submit your online application. Once received, a Navy Recruiter will contact you to further discuss the information that you provided.
