Stakeholder Meetings

Topics on this page:

NOTE: Notices of upcoming stakeholder meetings sponsored by FDA’s Office of External Relations are generally posted two or three days before the meeting. Stakeholder meeting topics will be announced the morning of the teleconference.

No stakeholder teleconferences are currently scheduled.

Purpose

Every day, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) makes important health and safety decisions about foods, drugs, medical devices, cosmetics, and other widely used consumer products. Transparency in FDA’s activities and decision-making allows the general public, and various groups that have an interest in FDA, to better understand the Agency’s decisions. And because FDA values the views of stakeholders in our decision making, we periodically sponsor stakeholder meetings about our public health actions and initiatives. This page features meetings, often in the form of conference calls, sponsored by FDA’s Office of External Relations.

Participants

All key stakeholders including consumer organizations, researchers, scientists, and industry representatives are invited to participate in these stakeholder meetings.

Reports and Presentations

Links to materials covered during stakeholder teleconferences and meetings, when available, will be posted here.
