Tribal Policy
Sovereign Tribal Nations must meet the objectives of Title IV-D of the Social Security Act and comply with federal regulations to receive funding to operate child support programs.
These policies are consistent with the government-to-government relationships with Indian Tribes and take into account the unique characteristics and circumstances of tribal communities.
