Lithographs by Toulouse-Lautrec

May 18-August 3, 1952

Overview: A special summer exhibition of more than 100 color and black-and-white prints from the Rosenwald collection was on view. Many works had been purchased for the Gallery in Switzerland the previous fall by Mr. Rosenwald. Formerly they had belonged to Eduard Kleinmann, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's close friend and publisher, who had the opportunity to acquire a large number of rare and early proofs directly from the artist.

Location: Ground Floor, Central Gallery
