State Systems

Computers sharing information

State and federal child support programs work together to implement information systems that support automated management of the program. Each state must have an automated system to operate its child support program efficiently, effectively and economically.

OCSE approves state system planning and design and monitors and certifies that states implement their systems as intended by law and regulation, and that they spend federal funds wisely. We also provide automation and technology support to encourage innovation.
