National Organization for Mexican American Rights Annual Training Conference
National Organization for Mexican American Rights (NOMAR) will hold its 12th Annual National Training Conference (NTC) on August 26-28, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The theme for this year’s conference is “Hispanic Americans: Contributing to Positive Change in America.”

This conference qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. The training is open to all Federal employees. This NTC will provide training and workshops over a range of topics related to equal opportunity, employment and education.

Federal employees and managers are encouraged to review additional conference and training information when deciding to participate, such as course descriptions, costs, and schedules, at the following website: www.nomarinc.org.  

Agencies are reminded that reporting of training is governed by 5 CFR 410. A copy of this regulation may be found at www.opm.gov/fedregis/2006/71-051006-28547-a.pdf.
