AAFEA Annual Training Workshop

The African American Federal Executive Association (AAFEA) will hold its 7th Annual Training Workshop from April 18–20, 2011 in Newport News, Virginia.  The theme of this conference is “Valuing Public Service,” and the agenda is focused on enhancing the career paths of Federal employees. This conference is intended for government and military personnel.

The AAFEA Training Workshop qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. This event is open to all Federal employees and will feature workshops and presentations in areas such as Leadership Development, Mentoring, Public Relations, Interviewing, and Developing Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs). The conference will also feature guest speakers who hold various Senior Executive Service (SES) roles within the Federal government.
