The National Coalition for Equity in Public Service (NCEPS) will be sponsoring a Diversity Conference on March 31 and April 1, 2011 in Washington, DC. This conference will address critical issues and opportunities relating to diversity practices within the Federal sector. The Office of Personnel Management recognizes the significance of this training opportunity and fully extends its support for this event.
The NCEPS Diversity Conference qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. The event is open to all Federal employees and will feature training and workshops in areas such as Defining Diversity, Demographic Shifts, Supporting Diversity and Inclusion in Federal Agencies, and a Special Emphasis Program Managers Panel Discussion. The overall content of this conference is vital to improving diversity within the Federal Government.
