The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is proud to announce our participation in this year’s American Legion Veterans Job Fair. Our participation in this annual hiring event will help advance the President’s Veterans Employment Initiative designed to improve employment opportunities for veterans in the Federal Government.
Veterans have selflessly served to protect our way of life and made great sacrifices in the defense of our nation. Now we have an opportunity to give back to those brave men and women by assisting them in finding employment in the Federal Government.
This year the American Legion will be holding its 93rd National Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where the Job Fair will be held from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, 2011.
