Women of Color Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Training Program

The Foundation for Educational Development, Inc. (FEDI), Prairie View University College of Engineering, and Career Communications Group, Inc., will hold their Seventeenth Women of Color Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) training event from October 11 to October 13, 2012, in Dallas, Texas.  The theme for the conference is "Waves of Change: Oceans of Opportunity.”

The program qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41.  The training is open to any Federal employee, from the GS-13 through SES level.  The training addresses the developmental needs of individuals to support their professional success in Federal employment.  Specifically, the training will provide workshops and seminars in business competencies and skills, including Professional Savvy, Communication Techniques, Change Management, and Building Successful Partnerships.

Agencies are reminded that reporting of training is governed by 5 CFR 410.601.
