Historic Building Photographs
The Center for Historic Buildings entered into an agreement with the Library of Congress to obtain publication-quality, archival photographs of GSA buildings. GSA's photo documentation program provides a permanent visual record and promotes awareness of GSA's historic building inventory. Carol M. Highsmith, a prominent architectural photographer, photographed more than 20 buildings during 2005 and 2006. These photographs, which were used in the Historic Building Poster & Brochure Series, are now part of a copyright-free collection available to the public on the Library of Congress website.
