GSA Auctions

GSA Auctions is an electronic solution for auctioning surplus, forfeited and exchange/sale Federal personal property. The auctions are completely web-enabled, allowing all registered participants to bid electronically on single or multiple items (lots) within specified timeframes.

The website offers the general public the opportunity to bid electronically, in a concurrent and easy-to-use format, on a wide array of assets no longer needed by the federal government ranging from office equipment and furniture to more select products like scientific equipment, heavy machinery, airplanes, vessels and vehicles.

The online capabilities of GSA Auctions provide competitive bidding, bids by proxy, instant feedback, online payment and online photos. GSA Auctions offers federal personal property assets located across the country to any interested buyer, regardless of location.

In addition, the website also has two new features: a carbon-footprint savings tool which can calculate the carbon savings attributed to reusing property and a Google map that shows the item's location.

Visit GSA Auctions to see descriptions and images of available items.
