The Fall Town Hall Meeting - “Mobility in the Fast Lane” - examined how mobility is moving into the Federal fast lane, and the impact it will have on telework and the future of work. Two events in one, the Town Hall Meeting focused on mobile IT and the mobile workforce. Attendees heard directly from nearly 30 government and industry leaders on what it takes to build and manage a secure, mobile workforce.

Highlights

John D. Porcari, deputy secretary for the Department of Transportation, will deliver the morning keynote. Mr. Porcari will discuss how the agency manages a workforce of nearly 60,000 employees across the country and supports mobile workers to achieve agency-wide goals such as improving fuel efficiency.
