Statements of Work

One of the first steps in your procurement is developing your Statement of Work (SOW). In it, you describe the needs and requirements of your agency in a concise, focused way. Then, you ask the industry experts who currently hold GSA MAS contracts to give you an accurate and complete price quote within a reasonable amount of time.

To help you, we are sharing samples of SOW’s that our customers and industry partners judged as the best. In making that determination, we asked them to share SOWs that:

  • Required little or no clarification
  • They were likely to quote on
  • Were unambiguous
  • Received a good number of quotes from other Schedule contractors
  • Were successfully executed according to the SOW

The initial SOW examples are available for the following categories:

This SOW collection will continue to grow as our customers and industry partners provide us with additional examples to share.

We are confident that you will find these SOW templates helpful. You can use them as examples when crafting your own requirements. They also illustrate how other agencies use GSA's schedule program to meet their wide-ranging needs.
