Tuberculosis Information Management


The Division of Tuberculosis Elimination (DTBE) has transitioned most users of the Tuberculosis Information Management System (TIMS) to a National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NEDSS)-compliant system. These systems are being used to report surveillance data to CDC using the revised Report of Verified Cases of Tuberculosis (RVCT). By December 2010, all TIMS users must have completed the transition.

The following are the four options that users can choose to replace TIMS:


A TB Patient Management Applications Assessment Guide was developed to assist local and state TB control programs select an application that best fits local TB control practices.
