Director of the Office of Educational Technology to Deliver Keynote at CETPA Conference

Karen Cator, Director of the Office of Educational Technology, will keynote the 52nd Annual California Educational Technology Professionals Association (CETPA) Conference at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Monterey, Calif. Cator will discuss the Department’s initiatives toward implementing the National Education Technology Plan.

The major emphasis of CETPA’s activities are directed toward improving administrative information processing in public education within the state of California and to prepare its membership to better meet and support the technological needs of the Instructional Program. The theme of the conference is “Rethink, Reshape, Redesign.” Conference attendees will include educators at all levels of K-20 organizations, including technologists, educators, administrators, engineers and analysts.
