First Responder to Electronic Devices (FRED) - April 3, 2013
The course is designed for patrol officers, detectives, crime scene technicians, probation officers and other law enforcement personnel that respond to crimes involving electronic/computer devices.

Basic Evidence Analysis & Triage (BEAT) - April 8-9, 2013
The course is designed for patrol officers, detectives, crime scene technicians, probation officers and other law enforcement personnel that respond to crimes involving electronic/computer devices. The course instruction is on how to identify, search and seize electronic media. The Cyber Crime Training Group will present this course. The instructors from the Cyber Crime Training Group are recognized experts in their respective field.

Healthy Officers Are Safer Officers: The Nexus Between Performance & Health
September 18, 2012 - Last year, 177 police officers lost their lives in the line of duty and 143 committed suicide. These deaths are devastating and unacceptable. The National Institute of Justice has developed a robust research portfolio to improve officer safety and wellness and, ultimately, save lives. The experts on this panel will discuss some of the evidence-based practices and policies that law enforcement agencies can put into operation to reduce officer deaths and improve wellness and performance.

The Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training program (MCTFT) program provides unique, tuition-free, courses covering all aspects of counterdrug law enforcement and training support for community anti-drug coalitions. This program is a federally funded partnership through the Department of Defense between the Florida National Guard and St. Petersburg College. This program is nationally responsive and is located at the Southeastern Public Safety Institute (SEPSI) of St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida.
