Administrative and Event Support Fees

Administrative and event support fees are assessed by the National Archives in accordance with 44 USC 2903 to recover administrative expenses incurred in co-hosting events and to support its public and educational programs, among other purposes. The National Archives will determine how much the fee will be, based upon the level of the National Archives-provided services for your event. These fees are payable to the National Archives Trust Fund. Fees normally range from $1,500 - $5,000 per event, depending on the space(s) used, the time of day, the number of event participants, the length of the event and the amount and type of services provided by the National Archives. The co-host organization may be assessed additional charges by the National Archives as a result of damage, abuse or for using services beyond those approved in advance. The co-host organization must accept full responsibility for such additional obligations and their settlement as a condition of reserving an event space.
