Information for People in Recovery

The Office of the Associate Director for Consumer Affairs (ADCA) within the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) welcomes you. This website is designed to inform, assist, as well as educate individuals impacted by mental and/or substance use disorders.

ADCA's mission is to advance recovery, wellness, and social inclusion through person-driven and person-directed approaches that expand rights, opportunities, and the autonomy of recovery.

Provides information concerning mental health to mental health consumers, family members, and providers. Members receive grant, publication, and study release announcements. Consumer scholarships and conference announcements are provided as well. Current health care information and related information regarding the New Healthcare Reform Law and how it is going to affect consumers, providers, policymakers, family members, veterans, and other relevant groups is sent as well.
