Office of Acquisition and Grants

The Office of Acquisition and Grants (OAG) is the principal procurement office of SSA. Seth Binstock is the Associate Commissioner for Acquisition and Grants. Dawn Caracci is the Acting Deputy Associate Commissioner for Acquisition and Grants.

The Office of the Associate Commissioner has overall responsibility for the award and administration of contracts and grants for SSA.

The Office of Information Technology Acquisition, directed by Jacqueline Lessig, is responsible for acquisition of information technology products and related services.

The Office of Operations Contracts, directed by Donald Wadhams, is responsible for acquisition of facilities services and acquisition of all other non-ITproducts and services.

The Office of Acquisition Support, directed by Allyson Stokes, provides acquisition policy and cost analysis & audit support to OAG.  This office also administers the purchase card program.

Regional Contracting Officers are responsible for the acquisition needs specific to the SSA field offices in their regions.

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), directed by Wayne McDonald, is responsible for fostering the use of small and disadvantaged businesses as Federal contractors.
