The NHLBI participates in the Department of Health and Human Services Omnibus SBIR/STTR Grant Solicitations. The NHLBI accepts investigator-initiated Phase I and Phase II grant applications relevant to the NHLBI mission.

The NHLBI will not be participating in the Phase IIB Competing Renewal program through the 2012 omnibus FOA; however, the NHLBI will offer Phase IIB Competing Renewal opportunities that focus on the commercialization of SBIR-developed technologies requiring regulatory approval. Applicants are encouraged to contact us for additional information.
