FSIS Final Rule to amend the Federal meat and poultry products inspection regulations to require nutrition labeling of the major cuts of single-ingredient, raw meat and poultry products, unless an exemption applies.
Nutrition Information Charts (Updated Sep 27, 2011)
In order to assist retail stores that sell meat and poultry products to post point-of-purchase nutrition information, FSIS has created downloadable charts for printing.
These charts show nutrition information for the major cuts of meat and poultry. Retail stores are welcome to download, print, display and/or distribute them to consumers in close proximity
to the relevant foods in the stores. The list of food items with nutrition information reflects the updates published in the Federal Register of December 29, 2010.

This report summarizes the results of the Nutrition Labeling Safe Handling
Instructions Survey for Raw Meat and Poultry conducted in December 1996, in
