    Commitments of Traders
    Provides a breakdown of each Tuesday's open interest for markets in which 20 or more traders hold positions equal to or above the reporting levels established by the CFTC.
    Released:  Weekly on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

    Financial Data for Futures Commission Merchants
    Selected financial information from the monthly financial reports that futures commission merchants file with the CFTC.

    This Month in Futures Markets
    This report is based on the Commitment of Traders (COT). For each commodity, the COT reports provide information on the size and the direction of the positions taken, across all maturities, by three categories of futures traders. These three trader categories are called “commercial”,"non-commercial”, and “non-reportable”.

    Bank Participation Report
    Lists U.S. and foreign banks active in the futures and option contract markets.
    Released: Monthly

    Index Investment Data
    A compilation of commodity index investment data derived from “special calls” to swap dealers and various index traders.
    Released: Monthly

    Cotton On-Call
    Provides “on-call” positions in spot cotton based on New York Cotton futures reported by merchants in special account status as of the preceding Friday.
    Released: Weekly on Thursday after 3:30 p.m..

    Futures Industry Registrants by Location (PDF)
    Shows the number of futures industry registrants in each registration category, by state.
    Released: Annually

    Staff Findings Regarding the Market Events of May 6, 2010 (PDF)
    The CFTC and SEC issued a joint report presenting their findings regarding the market events of May 6, 2010

    Net Position Changes Data
    The Large Trader Net Position Changes and the Trading Account Net Position Changes data provide the public with a better view of the amount of trading that results in day-over-day net changes to positions at the trader level and at the account level.

    Interagency Working Group Carbon Oversight Study (PDF)
    A Federal interagency working group led by the CFTC released a report on the oversight of existing and prospective carbon markets, fulfilling a requirement established in Section 750 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

    CUSIPS Delivered for CBOT Treasury Futures Contracts (maintained by Chicago Board of Trade)
    All bonds or notes delivered against a single contract are usually the cheapest-to-deliver (CTD) issue in the contract’s deliverable basket of securities.
    Released: Any business day during the delivery month, as defined by CBOT rules
