Centers of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST)

The Centers of Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST) play a vital role in efforts to broaden participation by all individuals in science and engineering. The program makes resources available to enhance the research capabilities of minority-serving institutions through the establishment of centers that integrate education and research. The centers promote the development of new knowledge, enhancement of the research productivity of faculty, and the expanded presence of students historically underrepresented in STEM disciplines.
