GSA Helps Eliminate Barriers

But, GSA also writes the rules that make sure government agency technology is accessible to all Americans. For many people with disabilities, technology is out of reach. Through the Information Technology Accessibility and Workforce division in GSA’s Office of Governmentwide Policy, that is changing. Director Terry Weaver and her team write the rules for 508 compliance issues, teach classes, and more. For GSA's Web presence, the GSA web management team helps by offering the skills and information needed to help make technology work better for people with disabilities.
