FY 2011

The Department of Defense and Full-Year Continuing Appropriations Act, 2011 (P. L. 112-10), recently passed by Congress provides funding for the Department of Education for the remainder of Federal Fiscal Year 2011. That law specifically provides that no funds will be provided for programs under Title VI, Subtitle A, Part I of the America COMPETES Act this fiscal year. Therefore, the Department will not make any new or non-competing continuation awards this year under the Teachers for a Competitive Tomorrow grant programs. Grantees with unexpended prior year funds may use those funds to operate in fiscal year 2011, in addition to in-kind and financial matching contributions, and can contact the TCT program officer for technical assistance.
