Improving Health in Communities

EPA mobilizes community asthma programs, health professionals, health insurers, school nurses, health departments and others to identify and use the most effective community-based strategies for improving health outcomes for asthma and delivering high-quality asthma care to everyone in need. Our goal is to ensure that environmental management of asthma triggers is integrated into overall asthma education programs.

AsthmaCommunityNetwork.org offers community-based asthma programs and health practitioners a website to connect and share resources and strategies for improving asthma care. The website is sponsored by EPA in partnership with Allies Against Asthma, a program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Merck Childhood Asthma Network. Inc.
