New Report
Land Research Program Science Applications Through Partnerships: A Progress Report 2005-2009
The Land Research Program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has made considerable progress in developing the science and technology needed to restore and revitalize land contaminated by hazardous waste. The research program is aligned with the EPA Administrator's priorities of cleaning up our communities.
EPA is partnering with communities, States and tribes to address their most pressing environmental problems at Superfund sites and other hazardous waste sites where pollution threatens public safety and the environment.
The report documents examples of research by EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) that have contributed to addressing complex, environmental cleanup issues at hazardous waste sites from 2005 through 2009.
