New York State is working harder than ever to make this state the place to do business. Last week, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce ranked New York as one of the top ten states for business, with high performance in measures such as new business creation, job growth, and a skilled workforce. The report cited “notable tax reform in 2011” as one of the changes that is making New York an attractive place for business growth and expansion.

Today, we are taking another exciting step to attract and grow business with the launch of the "New New York Works For Business" campaign. The centerpiece of this new marketing campaign is a website that provides a gateway to New York State resources for businesses that are looking to start, expand or relocate in New York.

The campaign will be promoted with print and television advertising designed to reach business leaders in-state and around the country. The new television ads showcase true New York success stories that highlight how businesses around the state – in agriculture, technology, green jobs, manufacturing, and more – have worked with New York State to grow and expand.
