• AESDirect - Reduce Exporting Stress with AES
  AESDirect is a free, Internet based system for filing Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) information to the Automated Export System (AES). It is the electronic alternative to filing a paper SED, and can be used by exporters, forwarders, or anyone else responsible for export reporting. Provided by the Census Bureau, U.S. Dept. of Commerce.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

• NOAA Grants Office
  The purpose of the Grants Management Division (GMD) is to support NOAA's mission by reviewing solicitations for applications, processing applications, negotiating awards, managing administrative and financial aspects of awards, monitoring progress against expenditures, resolving audit problems, and closing out awards when the projects are completed. Grants Management Division sponsors workshops and training sessions for recipients and program officials to keep the NOAA grants community current on procedures and requirements relating to grants and cooperative agreements.

International Trade Administration

• Special American Business Internship Training Program - Grants
  SABIT offers competitive grants to cover a share of the costs of hosting mid- to senior-level Eurasian managers and scientists for 3 to 6 months of hands-on, professional training in U.S. managerial, research and technology development practices. The SABIT Grant Program encourages U.S. exports and investment in Eurasia, and assists economic development by facilitating partnerships between the U.S. and Eurasian business and scientific communities.
• Market Development Cooperator Program
  The Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) is a competitive matching funds program that builds public/private partnerships by providing federal assistance to non-profit export multipliers such as states, trade associations, chambers of commerce, world trade centers and other non-profit industry groups that are particularly effective in reaching small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs). MDCP awards help to underwrite the start up costs of exciting new export marketing ventures which these groups are often reluctant to undertake without Federal Government support.
• Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis System
  All U.S. imports of steel mill products need a license to complete CBP entry summary. This web site was designed to help shippers comply with the steel import monitoring program requirements.
• NAFTA Certificate of Origin Interactive Tool
  Interactive tool to guide U.S. companies through the process of correctly filling out and filing the NAFTA Certificate of Origin.
• U.S. Government's Export Portal
  The International Trade Administration (ITA) is dedicated to opening markets for U.S. products and services and providing assistance and information to exporters. An important part of the ITA mission is to increase the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in exporting. The Small Business Program/Office of Export Assistance and Business Outreach (OEABO) focuses on SMEs, including women- and minority-owned businesses. The Small Business Program advocates for the small business perspective in trade policy formulation and in multilateral fora, such as the World Trade Organization and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Bureau of Industry and Security

• U.S. Export Controls and Licensing : Training and Seminars
  BIS offers a wide range of export control related seminars and workshops from Complying with U.S. Export Controls to training sessions for Freight Forwarders and help in initiating an Export Management System.
• Simplified Network Application Process (SNAP) Home Page
  SNAP enables U.S. exporters to electronically submit export and re-export license applications, commodity classification requests, and high performance computer notices.
• U.S. Chemical Weapons Convention Web Site
  U.S. chemical exporters must comply with the regulations detailed under the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). The United States Chemical Weapons Convention Web Site is a resource with information about chemical weapons and the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). Access to the electronic web application used by U.S. chemical users to submit information in compliance with the CWC is provided.
• Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) Website
  The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is responsible for implementing and enforcing the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which regulate the export and re-export of most commercial items. We often refer to the items that BIS regulates as "dual-use" - items that have both commercial and military or proliferation applications - but purely commercial items without an obvious military use are also subject to the EAR.
• Export Compliance and Enforcement Guide (Bureau of Industry and Security)
  The Dept. of Commerce, Bureau of Security and Industry is responsible for the regulation of exports. This site provides guidance in complying with U.S. export controls and regulations, which involves controlled goods and technologies, as well as restrictions on shipping to certain countries, companies, organizations, and/or individuals.
• U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security : Export Policies and Regulations
  Provides links to regulations governing exports of dual-use items (the 'Export Administration Regulations'). This site also includes discussions of certain key regulatory policy areas, including policies governing exports of high performance computers, exports of encryption products, deemed exports, U.S. antiboycott regulations, special regional considerations, the multilateral export control regimes, and the technical advisory committees.
