A Toolkit by Any Other Name
If you’ve come to OnGuardOnline.gov looking for the Stop.Think.Connect. Toolkit, look no further than the Net Cetera Community Outreach Toolkit. That’s right: It’s one toolkit with two names, which might seem strange, but there’s a method to our madness.
As many OnGuardOnline.gov visitors know, we released the Net Cetera Community Outreach Toolkit in October 2010 to help teachers, parents, and community leaders give effective presentations about kids’ online safety. The toolkit includes a booklet for parents, a booklet for kids, videos, and a PowerPoint presentation.
A few months ago, we partnered with the Department of Homeland Security to produce additional kits with these same great resources. DHS called the new kits Stop.Think.Connect. to highlight the federal government’s cybersecurity awareness campaign.
We’re delighted that our partnership with DHS has allowed us to extend the reach of this popular resource. So, if you’ve seen the Stop.Think.Connect. Toolkit and you want to learn more, check out the Net Cetera Community Outreach page and rest assured that you’re in the right place.
