Recommendations for Preparing Presentation Materials

The conference is no longer accepting proposals for late breaker oral and poster presentations for the conference. All proposals must reflect work completed after October 14, 2011 (with the exception of Program Showcase poster submissions) to be considered for presentation.

The conference welcomes submission of abstracts that focus on critical issues in STD prevention and related fields. A unique feature of the National STD Prevention Conference is the interface of STD prevention science, program, and policy. Research presented should have explicit program or policy relevance. The conference will consider late breaker abstracts in three formats:

  • oral presentations
  • poster presentations
  • Program Showcase poster presentations

Important things to remember:

  • Abstracts should describe investigation methods and primary findings in sufficient detail to allow reviewers to fully evaluate the scientific merit of the work.
  • All presenters must register to attend the conference.
