Retired Office of Minority and Women’s Health

The Office of Minority and Women's Health web site has been retired and is no longer available.

The office, which was part of the former National Center for Preparedness, Detection, and Control of Infectious Diseases, has been incorporated into the newly formed National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID), and is now called the Office of Health Disparities.

Readers interested in the James A. Ferguson Emerging Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program, which introduces underrepresented minority graduate students to careers in public health and infectious diseases and to opportunities at CDC, may obtain information about the fellowship at the Association of Minority Health Professions Schools, Inc. (AMHPS) site, at http://www.minorityhealth.org/p-student-drjames.php.
