About EIA

Website Accessibility Statement

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) strives to make our website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of physical ability. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires that all individuals with disabilities have access to, and use of, information comparable to information provided to individuals without disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on us.

Adobe Acrobat PDF Files

We produce many of our documents as PDF (Portable Document Format) files. Many persons using screen reading devices cannot read documents in PDF format. The website http://www.adobe.com/accessibility/products/reader/ provides free software you can use to read and access the information contained within PDF files.

What to do if you have trouble

Achieving compliance with Section 508 is an ongoing process. If the format or presentation of any information on our website interferes with your ability to access the information, due to an issue with accessibility caused by a disability as defined in the Rehabilitation Act, please contact accessibility@eia.gov for assistance.
