Preconception Care Information for Men
Preconception health is important for men, too. There are things men can do for their own health, as well as for the women and children in their lives.

Assisted Reproductive Technology
ART includes all fertility treatments in which both eggs and sperm are handled. In general, ART procedures involve surgically removing eggs from a woman’s ovaries, combining them with sperm in the laboratory, and returning them to the woman’s body or donating them to another woman.

On April 28-29, 2010, CDC held a consultation with 67 experts in the field of sexual health to discuss the elements of the green paper and to further explore the rationale, vision, and priority actions for a public health approach to advance sexual health in the United States. This report is a summary of the meeting’s proceedings.

Sexual and Reproductive Health of Persons Aged 10-24 Years, 2002-2007
Data were compiled from the National Vital Statistics System and multiple surveys and surveillance systems that monitor sexual and reproductive health outcomes into a single reference report that makes this information more easily accessible. This report addresses three primary topics: 1) current levels of risk behavior and health outcomes; 2) disparities by sex, age, race/ethnicity, and geographic residence; and 3) trends over time.
