About Pittsburgh District Office
The Pittsburgh SBA office is responsible for the delivery of SBA programs and services to 27 counties in western Pennsylvania.
Last year, the Pittsburgh District Office assisted hundreds of people through training, counseling and business-development programs.
The Pittsburgh SBA Office is committed to forming a closer partnership with lenders and with the community at large. Several agreements have been signed with companies and community organizations to increase lending and technical assistance to small businesses in the state of Pennsylvania.
Services Available
Over the years, the SBA has developed many small business loan and assistance programs, special outreach efforts and initiatives to aid and inform small businesses. The following describes briefly all the services and information available through this office:

Financial assistance for new or existing businesses through guaranteed loans made by area bank and non-bank lenders. For more information or a brochure on any of the financial programs, please contact us at (412) 395-6560.

Free counseling, advice and information on starting, better operating or expanding a small business through (SCORE) Counselors to America’s Small Business.

Assistance to businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals through the Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Program. Please contact the Pittsburgh District Office MED staff at (412) 395-6560 to register your firm for the Seminar or for further information.

Women's Business Ownership Representatives are available to advise women business owners.

Special loan programs are available for businesses involved in international trade.
