NASA Dryden has a heritage of developmental and operational experience with unmanned aircraft systems. Work on Boeing's sub-scale X-36 Tailless Fighter Agility Research Aircraft, X-48 Blended Wing Body and full-scale X-45 Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle technology demonstrators helped pave the way for current use of Global Hawk and Ikhana (Predator B) UAS for environmental and aeronautical research.

  • Hi,true, but without he funding these things wouldn't get of the ground, well not these days they wouldn't with the way the world is at the moment. It does sound wrong where the human race benefit from war and death, but without the 2nd world war, i wonder how advanced we would be today,if it wasn't for a lunatic threatening everyone in the world with death. We all know the ins and outs of US funding and Hitler etc,but even so,Jet technology may have only come out in 70's

  • Nice vehicle but it seems like it is not build for only sience purpose,

so I do not know now how many times do I need to press the dislike button, would Gandhi & Einstein press the botton now ? I can not decide that without the full report about it and please do not tell the world that would be top secret, instead of that I do like all aircrafts also the drones, but I do not like real weaponsystems there is no need for that.
