They provide excellent public education regarding health issues such as obesity, asthma, allergies with the programs they provide for our schools
They study viruses like H1N1 and provided excellent advice and information regarding how to avoid infection and how infection outbreaks.
They provide life saving vaccinations and excellent education on countless topics.
The CDC are crucial for health education, research purposes and prevention of epidemics.
They are vital.

you obviously dont get it, the CDC is important and have prevented/contained many outbreaks. and yea of course the CDC does some stupid shit, its not the scientists' fault though, its the politicians and public affairs people.

Sorry, but you don't obviously get it, and have not researched into the CDC's handing of this disease. CDC staff, both in the CFS program and in management are responsible for the direction research has taken. They have put their names to this research, they have chosen to work with ignorant UK psychiatrists, who are unable to comprehend the known biology of this disease. If they have now changed their minds, because the writing is on the wall, now is the time to speak up.

They may serve a purpose, but they are not, and have not, been doing their job. They clearly need overhauling, and they should be investigated for doing nothing.
