If you're a recreational angler, you might be interested in learning about the new National Saltwater Angler Registry, which went into effect Friday, January 1, 2010. The registry will enable NOAA to more effectively gather information from saltwater fishermen, enhancing our ability to produce the most timely and accurate information possible about the health of recreational fish stocks. • I lovely to video very impressive

  • Gee it all sound so great!! However why is the Federal gov't as part of registering going to require a yearly $25 fee to register? Why are the funds being collected not being ear marked for conservation but going directly into the Federal treasury??!!!

    Huh.....

Sounds like a Federal tax on fishing to me!
