Welcome to the United States Department of Agriculture – Mississippi Rural Development Website. USDA Rural Development Mississippi is the state branch of USDA Rural Development. USDA Rural Development Mississippi is dedicated to providing a variety of programs to rural communities and individuals to promote economic and community growth. USDA Rural Development provides programs to meet the needs of rural communities and individuals for housing, community facilities, utility systems, and business and economic growth.

Our mission at USDA Rural Development in Mississippi is to create opportunities for Mississippi’s rural communities to improve their citizens' quality of life. We complete this mission by providing consulting, financial, and technical resources to Mississippi’s rural communities.
