Rural School Districts are an Absolute Priority in the $400M Race to the Top-District grant competition and may join or apply in consortium. The Department is asking interested districts to submit their intent to apply by Aug. 30. Webinars and conference calls will be scheduled to provide technical assistance. Applications are due Oct. 30, with awards being announced no later than Dec. 31, 2012. Read more.
