Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Sometimes life's challenges can become overwhelming. It’s important to get help before these problems begin to keep us from enjoying life, performing at work, or maintaining relationships with our friends, partners, or children. It takes courage to ask for help.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to help you with professional, confidential counseling to better equip you to deal with life’s challenges. Services are provided free of charge to CBP employees and eligible family members.

The EAP can help you find solutions to work-related and personal concerns:

Stress caused by problems at work or financial difficulties

  • Stress caused by problems at work or financial difficulties
  • Marital and family problems
  • Relationship Issues
  • Life adjustments
  • Alcohol and Drug problems
  • Dealing with a chronic illness
If you need help dealing with a personal or work-related problem, call the EAP. Your participation in this program is completely confidential.

For more information on how to access services through the EAP, contact the Benefits, Medical and Worklife Division in the Office of Human Resources Management.
