The Redistricting Data Office coordinates the tabulation and release of Census Bureau data sets that are of specific interest to those in the redistricting and elections communities.

The redistricting data products you will find on this page are:

  • 2010 Census Redistricting [P.L. 94-171] TIGER/Line Shapefiles
    • TIGER/Line® Shapefiles are spatial extracts from the Census Bureau's MAF/TIGER database, containing features such as roads, railroads, rivers, as well as legal and statistical geographic areas.
    • TIGER/Line® Shapefiles are designed for use with geographic information system (GIS) software. The TIGER/Line®Shapefiles do not include demographic data, but they contain geographic entity codes that can be linked to the Census Bureau’s demographic data.
  • 2010 Census Redistricting Maps
    • The 2010 Census Redistricting Maps are a comprehensive series of maps that may assist you in your work with the Summary Files.
  • 2010 Census Block Assignment Files
    • The 2010 Census Block Assignment Files contain statewide 2010 Census tabulation block listings for a series of geographies.
    • The Name Look-up tables provide a listing of those geographies by code and name.
  • 2010 Census Redistricting Data [P.L. 94-171] Summary Files
    • The 2010 Census Redistricting Data [P.L. 94-171] Summary Files contain the redistricting data tabulated from the 2010 Census.
