About Geographical Mobility/Migration

Geographical Mobility/Migration refers to the movement of people from one location to another at various geographic levels. Movers are classified by type of move and characteristics of movers. The Census Bureau collects data on Migration from a variety of different surveys and depending on your needs, one survey may be more suitable than another.
