Welcome to the Census Bureau's Atlanta region. Our office is responsible for all data collection, data dissemination, and geographic operations, for the states of Alabama, Florida and Georgia. The Atlanta Region's boundary will change to include Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina effective 1 January 2013 under the Field Realignment as shown on Map of New Regional Office Structure [PDF 632k]. During the transition, we remain committed to exceeding the high standards required by the Census Bureau as well as delivering excellent customer service.
