As part of the Census Bureau's field realignment process, the Seattle Region is one of six regional offices that will close on January 1, 2013. States serviced by the Seattle Region will be reassigned. The Los Angeles Region will assume responsibility for all data collection, data dissemination and geographic operations for Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Northern California as shown on this Map of New Regional Office Structure [PDF 632k]. During the transition, we remain committed to exceeding the high standards required by the Census Bureau as well as delivering excellent customer service.
